How many of you have actually received your tax stimulus checks? I know some people who were making really big plans with the $600 and only received $300. Too bad. Anyway, I read somewhere that the IRS has received a serious amount of calls from people who have'nt received their stimulus checks or received the wrong amount.

Facials

Hey guys,

If you are looking for a quick remedy to not to great skin, try doing in home facials. You really dont have to spend a lot of money at the salon, when you can do it yourself, and get good results. One facial that I enjoy is the oatmeal honey facial.

It is a simple and it works perfectly for people with oily skin.

The ingredients are as follows:
  • 1/3 cup of fast cook oatmeal (1-3 minutes)
  • ¼ cup of honey
  • ½ cup of water

Mix everything together and apply to your skin. Be careful around the eyes.

Another great at home ingredient for the skin is Lemon juice. Lemon juice is actually a fruit acid, AKA Alpha Hydroxy Acid and most importantly it is 100% all natural. It will help exfoliate the skin by reducing the “glue” that causes dead skin cells to stick to the skin.

The Lemon juice facial is more like a rinse then an actual facial. All you need is water and lemon juice. Follow these easy steps to great skin:

  • Mix 1 part water to 5 parts lemon juice, and massage the solution onto your face.
  • Then, rinse your face with cool water.

Now for my extremists, make sure to rinse well, because it can cause skin irritation if left on too long.

These facials are all good, but the best way to great skin is to drink a lot of water.

Does fashion really pay?

I just cleaned out my closet and had to throw away tons of name brand clothes that I no longer fit into or can't wear because they are totally played out. So I have come to the grand conclusion (which I really knew all along) that spending hard earned money on something that you may not wear months down the line is just not worth it. To that end ladies (and gents if this applies) shop for bargains if you can. Get great fashions for less at places like:

www.H&M.com

http://www.stilettojungleblog.com/ - she basically does all the work in finding fashion deals so that you dont have to

www.forever21.com

www.myspace.com/sofetchapparel - they have really cute dresses and the prices are a steal

Anyway on to other things, how come there are no Ghanaian wedding websites. The web is infiltrated with Nigerian wedding websites (no offense to my Naija folks), but what about Ghanaian ones. Ghana Stand up and Represent. We just made a comeback with our Ghanaian movies, lets proceed to take over the world of wedding websites as well. To that end check out the happiest Ghanaian groom on earth

Enjoy your day......
